FREDERICK RICHARDSON 'S GORGEOUS COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS ARE ON EVERY PAGE - THE RHYMES ARE INSERTED INTO A WHITE BORDERED BOX WITHIN EACH ILLUSTRATION.
Chic:P.F. Volland & Co., (1915), 1st Edition, thus (NAP). Small folio, blue cloth gilt titles and a shaped pictorial label of Mother Goose & 3 children. Decorated eps and a foreword by Eulalie Osgood Grover, Previous owner glued the ffep and next pg (blank) too high - so that the blank page is creased at inner hinge and is wavy at the bottom. This blank page faces the Title page (which is in good condition). Two pgs have a few smudges (Ladybird & One Misty Morning). Still VG cond
The 4-pg Prospectus is the same size as the book and is in VG condition,. It has a couple of creases at the edges and was at one time folded in half so there is a horiz fold mark. It had been unfolded and rested at the bottom of the box. The ORIGINAL BOX top cover is original, the sides have been professionally replaced. The bottom of the box is original but the sides have been repaired with archival tape. The BOX Is sturdy and in Good condition
