Black cloth over boards with the title stamped in red ink on the spine. Illustrated dust jacket and end papers. The spine is slightly rolled and edges of boards are bumped. Textblock page edges are slightly discolored and lightly soiled at the head. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the half-title page in what looks like black-colored pencil. Dust jacket has some tearing at the edges as well as some losses (the largest is 2x1 in at its deepest point). Jacket corners are clipped but the price is still intact. Part of The John C.
