Straight, tight, lightly rubbed, darkened at top edge, minor discoloration to endpapers, else clean: Very Good. Jacket unclipped (priced $2.00), lightly rubbed, faded at extremities and spine, but whole and clean: Very Good. Basshe was a co-founder of the New Playwrights Theatre, an early member of the League of American Writers, and a recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1931.
