The top fore-edge corners of the covers are bumped, and the edges of the spine and boards are lightly rubbed. There is a very small open tear to the paper along the rear hinge. In a dust jacket with periodic small open and closed tears to the edges and folds. The largest tear is open, measuring just under 1 inch deep by 1/2 inch wide. Inscribed by the author, who is from Ogden, Utah, on the front free endpaper.
