Cloth boards in varying shades of blue have minor wear including some rubbing/fraying around edges, a few bumped corners, and lightly faded spines. Bindings are started in volumes 2 and 3. A few names/notations on some of the endpapers, plus a previous owner bookplate in volume 5. Interior text appears clean and unmarked with original maps present and in good condition.
