A fine photo-illustrated menu produced to commemorate the dinner given at the Princeton Inn for the General Society of the Cincinnati by the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Jersey, in May 1926. Contains the evening's menu, and a list of toasts. Includes photos of: the insignia worn by Washington given to him by Lafayette; Nassau Hall at Princeton; artwork depicting the founders of the society; the original commission given to Washington by Continental Congress in 1775, making him Commander-in-Chief; and related artwork.



Folio (10" by 8"), 10 leaves, in original wrappers. Photo illustrated, upper wrapper serving as title-page embossed with exquisitely hand-painted flags flanking a gold seal. Secured with blue and white cord; embossed seal of maker, Bailey Banks & Biddle Co., to lower wrapper.
