United States, 1940. Fine; no beads loose. Only light toning to lace.. A round military patch commemorating Pearl Harbor made in the 1940s from beads, lace, and wool fabric sourced from a service member's wool blanket. The beads spell out the phrase "Remember Pearl Harbor", with concentric red, white, and blue stars in the center. Made by hand by who we presume was a female wife, friend, or relative of a service member, the emotion and patriotism behind the peace remains palpable today. Diameter measures 6.25".
