London: Macmillan and Co, 1878. Full leather. Very Good +. The 1878 1st edition, bound in a dark bevelled leather, with raised bands and bright gilt-tooling and lettering along the spine. Tight and VG, with lovely marbled endpapers. Light wear to the outer hinges and along the tips, light foxing to the endsheets and very light scuffing to the panels. No writing or markings of any kind to the text. Thick quarto, all edges gilt.
