Bound in full brown leather boards with maroon and gilt title label to spine. Raised bands and gilt decoration to spine. Elaborate gilded M to both boards. Both hinges are cracked, but boards remain attached. Chipping, cracking, and wear to leather on spine with loss to foot of spine. Marbled endpapers. Pencil writing to free endpaper. Occasional spots of foxing and a few small pencil notations to margins, but clean and brigth overall. 586 pages plus index. FRE/062322.
