Spine mildly rolled; endpapers a bit darkened along the hinges. In a very attractive dust jacket, not price-clipped, and with toning to the flaps and rear panel, a handful of very minor chips to the edges, and a couple of short closed tears. The jacket, with bold contrast, presents very well. A major work by this twentieth-century giant, and a semi-autobiographical novel. Colberg A7.1.a.
