New York: Caedmon Publishers, 1953. Record. Near Fine. The 1953 1st pressing of this Caedmon LP record by poet EE Cummings. WARMLY INSCRIBED BY CUMMINGS ON THE FRONT SLEEVE TO HIS CLOSE FRIEND RICHARD HOFFMANN, who had emigrated to The States from Vienna and had become a fixture in the Cambridge (MA) intellectual scene and, as a leading dermatologist, had treated Cummings and other well-known literary figures. The 33 1/3 LP record has held up beautifully (clean and Near Fine) and the sleeve is crisp and bright, with just a bit of clear tape discreetly reinforcing the edges. The record, formally, is called: "E.E. Cummings reading Poems from ONE TIMES ONE -- EIMI -- XAIPE and others / Scenes from HIM and SANTA CLAUS". (Caedmon TC 1017). Very uncommon as such.
