By Allen Ginsberg
Galerie du Jour. Single sheet. Near Fine. The single, original sheet on which Allen Ginsberg created his "Lettre de Ginsberg a Gregory Corso", which would appear in the French catalogue"Objets Trouves d' Artistes", based on the December 1991-January 1992 exhibition at Paris's Galerie du Jour. Both the typed letter and the catalogue itself are crisp and very well-preserved. The original letter, which bears Ginsberg's handwriting, drawings and signature, is in bright, very sharp condition, with just the slightest hint of creasing. And the catalogue is pristine in its beige boards. Wonderful provenance (supplied upon request) on the piece. The original Ginsberg letter/artwork and the catalogue sold together.
