Very Good in an about Very Good jacket, unclipped (no price), generally toned, a few small chips at the edges, three holes at the front panel fold. Green buckram, some fading at the edges, with red ink lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, some foxing at the edges. The first novel in Burroughs's Barsoom series, which tells the story of American John Carter and his adventures on Mars. Though this is a Grosset & Dunlap reprint, jacketed copies are still relatively scarce.
