The 1955 film adaptation, starring Frank Sinatra and depicting drug use, pushed the limits of the Motion Picture Production Code, which refused to grant it a Code seal. Nevertheless, it was nominated for three Academy Awards, including a Best Actor nod for Sinatra, his only in that category. 8.5'' x 5.5''. Original light brown cloth boards.
