This lovely little book of moral tales is adorned with an attractive gilt-speckled yellow paper, drawing an aesthetic parallel with modern Little Golden Books. 5.25'' x 3.5''. Original gilt-speckled yellow boards, saddle-stitched. Full-page black-and-white frontispiece with seven large woodcuts. 36 pages. Boards with light chipping of paper to edges of spine and rear. Leaves uniformly mildly tones, a few spots of foxing. Sharp and clean.
