Notes on two days’ sport, recording in ink the “2d beat” after luncheon on 13 February, and for an afternoon hunt in the jungle on 14 February: "The beat began at 4:15 p.m. His Royal Highness had a shot at a tigress at 5 p.m. and dropped her dead."
