Very early study in preparation of the building of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, issued 10 years after the 1937 opening of the Golden Gate Bridge. The 1947 1st --and undoubtedly only-- edition. Solid and VG+ to Near Fine in its light-tan cloth, with just a touch of very light soiling to the front panel and mild offsetting along the inner hinges. Quarto, dozens of large fold-out plates (photographs and blue prints) at the rear.
