N.p.: N.p., 1940. Vintage borderless test photograph of actress Vera Zorina, sporting victory rolls, an embroidered short-sleeved peplum top, and wide-leg pants, circa 1940s.

Zorina began her dance career at a young age, when she was invited to join the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo in 1933. She enjoyed a brief period in Hollywood, appearing in seven films between 1938 and 1946, but soon returned to the stage, most notably in "The Tempest" at the Alvin Theatre in 1945, and in Arthur Honegger's "Joan of Arc at the Stake" in the play's US debut in 1948.

7 x 9 inches. Very Good plus overall, with faint diagonal creasing.
