Uncommon 1931 portfolio of the work of Eugene Freyssinet (1879-1962), French structural and civil engineer and the major pioneeer of prestressed concrete. 26 plates (missing 1) featuring in black-and-white photography a number of Freyssinet's massive projects. Also includes a study of Freyssinet by architect Jean Badovici, drawings within the text and then the range of plates. All contained within a ribbon-tied, pictorial chemise, which is solid and VG to VG+, with light soiling to the front panel and very light streaking along the intersection of the rear panel and spine.
