A partial set of stereoscopic charts used "for cultivating Binocular Vision and for Treatment of Heterophoria", compiled by Dr. David W. Wells for the American Optical Company. The set includes nine (9) "series" of charts for different uses by a trained refractionist with a DeZeng Phorometer Stereoscope. The cards were a selection by Javal, Dahlfeld, Kroll, Hale and Wells; the author's names appear on each chart. This set includes thirty-six (36) black and white cards and eighteen (18) color cards, lacking a total of seventeen (17) cards. Each measures 3" by 7"; versos blank. Printed instructions bifolium measures 6" by 3". Housed in original box with printed label measuring 3.25" by 7.25" by 1" The cards were used for the stereoscopic treatment of heterophoria. Includes cards for both diagnosis and treatment. Each series has a specific function. Representative sample from each set. H and I complete.
