A moralistic tale disguised as a humorous tale about a soldier caught playing cards in church, only to be caught by his superior; in order to evade punishment, the soldier spins a story about how each playing card teaches him a different bible story.

Single leaf (11" by 8.5") printed on recto only, blue paper, with typographical ornaments. Queen of diamonds playing card pasted to center of leaf. Reverse blank.
