Paris: E. Plon, Nourrit et C.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. Handsome collection of illustrations, a number of them in color, circa 1890. Chronicling the fashions --mostly swimwear -- of women by the sea in Belgium's coastal city of Ostende ("Aux Bains de Mer d' Ostende"). Solid and VG- to VG in its dark-green cloth, with light scuffing and soiling along the panels. A minimal amount of wear at the spine ends and the tips, tender --but still perfectly firm-- inner hinges. Tall quarto, wonderful period ads, several of them even in English, at the rear.
