Pettijohn's Breakfast Food Children's Book with Two Pages of Watercolor Pigment

(Chicago: The American Cereal Co.), 1904. Softcover. Very Good. Children's book. 32mo. Measuring approximately 4¾" x 5". Chromolithographed stapled wrappers with black and white illustrations; the central leaf features two pages of watercolor inks (24 squares featuring 12 colors); the paint appears to be unused. Spine base with a short split, light wear and a tiny creased tear on the lower wrap, very good or better. The final page features a cancel stamp stating that Cereta checks were canceled in December, 1904. A handsome little turn-of-the-century children's advertisement.
