Miniature Valentine - Woman on Horse, Cherubs "In Love I Hope to Conquer

London, 1850. Very good to near-fine. Light toning. Lace paper in excellent shape.. A charming miniature 32mo valentine made from decorated paper peeking through pictorial lace paper. Image on the lace paper depicts a woman on a horse flanked by cherubs. When the lace paper is lifted, a small chromolithographed scrap reads "In love I hope to conquer". Bifolium measuring approx. 2" by 2.75
