Wrapper extremities a bit worn and darkened, light foxing along upper cover fore-edge, else Very Good, internally fine.

Inscribed by the artist on half title: "Hommage à François Coppée / Rouveyre." Additionally signed on colophon. Rouveyre's caricature of the French man-of-letters François Coppée is the third in this collection, preceding his death by just a year. Few eminent literary and artistic figures escape Rouveyre's acerbic treatment in this collection, which includes Anatole France, Sarah Bernhardt, and the Pope.
