Solid and VG in its green cloth, with very light spotting along the panels and 2 pgs. of offsetting (pgs. 92-93), where a newpaper had been laid-in. And in a crisp, price-intact, VG example of the fragile dustjacket, with chipping along 2/3 of both flap-folds and chipping as well to the spine ends (including 1" of loss at the foot of the spine). Quarto, 84 crisp black-and-white photos at the rear, following the text. A legendary survey book in the field of herpetology, "the first extensive book to be devoted to the snakes of the world".
