N.p.: N.p., 1920. Vintage linen-backed photograph of silent film actress Esther Ralston, circa 1920s.

Ralston began her stage career as part of a vaudeville family act. She appeared primarily in comedy, western, and drama films, including "Oliver Twist" (1922), "Peter Pan" (1924), "A Kiss for Cinderella" (1925), "The American Venus" (1926), and "Shadows of the Orient" (1935). Unlike many of her contemporaries, Ralston made a successful transition from silent to sound film, appearing in several supporting roles throughout the 1930s before her retirement in 1940.

7.5 x 9.5 inches. Very Good plus, with light toning to the edges.
