By Honegger-Lavater, Warja [Four Temperaments]
Basel / Stuttgart: Basilius Presse, 1962. First edition. Near fine. Twenty-fourmo [12 cm] Accordion-folding artist's book composed of purple paper over boards with folding black and white lithographic interior. Rather pristine. Printed from the original lithographs at Atelier Emil Matthieu in Zürich. With the legend at the front. Not numbered. Not signed. The title of the folding title page reads: "Die vier temperamente: Sanguiniker; Choleriker; Phlegmatiker; Melancholiker oder Party bei." Publisher's notes tucked in. One of Lavater's earlier tales. An original story, and not a retelling of a traditional story, told in black and white.
