A solid copy to boot of the 1938 1st edition of this autobiography of renowned architect Paul Starrett (1866-1957), who, incredibly, designed the Empire State Building, the Flatiron Building, the original Penn Station, the Plaza Hotel, etc. AND IN ITS UNCOMMON PICTORIAL DUSTJACKET. Tight and VG (light soiling to the panels {including staining at the rear panel's lower-edge}, mild rubbing along the spine, offsetting to the inner hinges) in a crisp, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with light wear and very faint chipping along the panel edges.
