With the insignia of photography agency Lucas and Monroe and the numbers 8 and 46 on the bottom right corner, along with an agency stamp and the stamp of American Weekly on the verso.

Based on Irving Berlin and Morrie Ryskind's 1940 Broadway play. A satirical take on political corruption set in Louisiana, following a bumbling senator investigating graft throughout the state who himself becomes the target of a crooked political scheme.
