Light rubbing and a few minor scuffs and spots to boards, which are beginning to separate but secure, moderate rubbing to extremities, chipping to spine ends, minor nicks to spine, corners bumped and moderately worn. Moderate toning to interior, light foxing to a few leaves, offsetting to margins of endleaves, location number in tiny early hand to front pastedown. $450. * Second edition. First published in 1767, Buller's treatise on trial practice in rural places is derived from a collection of trials by his uncle, Bathurst, who is sometimes listed as the author. The second edition is considerably enlarged with original material. A standard work for decades, it went though several reissues and seven editions, the last in 1817.
