By Harper Lee
Philaelphia: Lippincott, 1960. Boards. Very Good +/Very Good. The elusive 1960 stated 2nd printing, published in the same year as the July 1960 1st printing. Clean and VG+ in its duotone boards, with a tight binding and very solid hinges. And in a bright, price-clipped, VG example of the stated 2nd printing dustjacket, with its iconic design by Shirley Smith. Light wear along the edges, light creasing at the spine ends. A touch of mild soiling and rubbing to the panels but the Truman Capote photo of his friend Harper Lee that graces the back cover remains bright and clean. Overall, a presentable, very solid copy.
