A film that left an indelible imprint on the horror genre, with one of the most terrifying opening acts of cinema history. The film derives its plot from the 1974 classic "Black Christmas," and was the basis for a made-for-television sequel as well as Wes Craven's 1996 film "Scream."

Shot on location in Los Angeles, and Sacramento, California.
