Director Stephen Dwoskin was an experimental filmmaker who produced work based on themes of perception, disability, and sexuality. He was a cofounder of the London Film-Makers' Co-op in 1966, and the film collective Spectre in 1980. "Times For" was the first of Dwoskin's longer films, and notably included a performance by performance artist and filmmaker Carolee Schneemann, with a soundtrack by experimental musician Gavin Bryars.
