Poetry collection by the late Josias Lyndon Arnold, who died prematurely at the age of twenty-eight the previous year. The promise of genius is somewhat tempered by James Burrill's introduction: "Many of his poems were left in an unfinished state, and many are the production of a very youthful muse. His corrections would doubtless have removed many objects of criticism" (p. vi).
