By Jean-Baptiste Say; John Richter [trans.]
Philadelphia: Printed and Published by M. Carey & Son, 1817. Very Good. Philadelphia: Printed and Published by M. Carey & Son. 1817. First U.S. Edition. Octavo. 144 pp.; 24 pp. publisher's catalog bound to front. Bound in recent red cloth with gilt lettering to spine and new endpapers.

Light rubbing to boards and binding is sound. Recent bookplate to front pastedown. Staining to pages but text legible throughout; contemporary ownership inscription to title crossed out, possibly later inscription of "I.H. Alexander" also to title.

Scarce title from the French liberal economist, most famous for "Say's Law." A Very Good copy.
