By Bailey S. Murphy
London: B.T. Batsford, 1904. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. The 1904 1st edition of this massive examination of English & Scottish wrought ironwork. An imposing elephant folio, solid, well-preserved and VG in its navy-blue cloth, with lovely gilt-flourishes and titling along the front panel and spine. A bit of separation and weakness at the front outer hinge, light bowing to the front board, which still though remains sturdy and solid. Mild scuffing and rubbing to the panels, the interior very clean.
