James Miller, Publisher, 1864. Hardcover. Very Good. 8x5x1. Burgundy cloth covered boards with embossed decorations. Spine has a decorative gold fork with the title listed inside. Outer boards show modest shelf wear. Internally all pages and plates (5) present and firmly attached. The binding is sound. The pages are unmarked but there is foxing on some pages, particularly on the verso of the plates. There is a gift inscription written in ink dated December 10th 1890 on the inside front board. This is a very attractive copy of this rare cookbook. This is NOT the more recent reprints shown in the on-line illustration. Photos available upon request.
