Baraka has made several alterations and additions in the text including about 50 words in his hand at the bottom of the fourth page: "The year the class struggle in Blk America became clear & open Segregation [?] & the productive forces loosed in on oppressed [?] just enough to create a vicious verticality, an oppressive class, in collaboration w/ the big bourgeosie who now sat in the white house openly & picked their toes."
