Martin; the binding has some light spotting and there is a light spot of rubbing to the spine; with floral patterned endpapers; the front endpaper has a small amount of loss near the top of the front hinge; remnant of a blank leaf before the recto of the frontispiece.~~The Nevins bibliography calls this "a poorly organized by but splendid picture of the almost unknown Florida campaign".~Harwell asserts that this is "the best picture of the campaigns in Florida, by the wife of the commander of the Second Florida Cavalry."
