SIGNED. 216pp. Octavo [21 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. The spine is rolled, there are a handful of small stains on the rear board, and the front hinge is weak. There is a remainder mark to the foot of text block, and there is a previous owner's brief notation in the bottom fore-edge corner of the front free endpaper. In the illustrated dust jacket, with general light rubbing to the panels, and very insignificant soiling to the rear panel. Richard Brautigan was a literary idol of the 1960s and early 1970s. Brautigan came of age while Haight-Ashbury was popular and has been called "the last of the beats."
