This lovely map by Zuccagni Orlandini depicts the region of Tuscany region in Italy. Incredibly detailed, the map identifies important cities, rivers, fortifications, roads, and other topographical features. Tuscany is one of the most famous and prolific wine regions anywhere in Europe. It is best known for its Sangiovese-based dry red wines - which dominate output. These include Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are included

The map is in very good condition. Original plate mark is visible. This map was engraved by P. Manzoni, published by Valerio Stanghi and Giacinto Maina in "Atlante Geografico degli Stati Italiani"
