The first four volumes, covering the entries A - Sk, were published serially between 1985 and 2002. Due to long delays in completion of the project, Vol. 5 (Sl-Z) was not published until 2012, and was bound and jacketed in a new format. A supplemental Volume 6, containing dispersion maps and indexes, appeared in 2013 (not included here).
