Very Good binding. 8vo. in later drab sewn covers with the publisher's printed pink wrappers bound in; [5], 6-143, [144], followed by 8 pages of ads; with some loss to the sewing of the binding, though all is holding well; previous owner penned "Almanac 1847" to the front and rear covers. ~~The publishers ad to the verso of the front wrapper has "A Word to Purchasers of Garden Seeds".~~This appears to be the first almanac | trade catalogue issued by David Landreth of Philadelphia. ~~The first issue appears to be uncommon.
