Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, 1928. Hardcover. Good +/Very Good +. 178pp. Octavo [23cm]. Green cloth over boards. Title stamped in black on spine and front board. Charming cartographic endpapers. Boards quite mottled by dampness. Ex-library, with minimal markings: one ex-libris sticker affixed to front pastedown. Spine ends bumped. In a dust jacket with light chipping, and a few closed tears - the longest of which measures 2cm. This is the former copy of American painter, cartoonist and illustrator Paul Branson, presumably gifted by Canadian Maritime historian W.G. Godfrey.

A humorous and colorful history of the National Parks.
