Royal Houghton (1802-1881) in 1837, a minister in the Central New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Of note in this album is a young woman named Phebe Candee who following her entry identifies herself as "deaf & dumb", and G. Gary who in an inscription dated 1846 notes his plans to go to Oregon.
