The Super Grass Grower's Guide: a Handbook for High Power Pot Farming
- [San Francisco]: Stone Kingdom Syndicate, 1970
[San Francisco]: Stone Kingdom Syndicate, 1970. No statement of edition or printing. Small octavo; staple-bound pictorial card wrappers; 16pp; illus. Mild external dusting; minor marginalia and highlighting; Near Fine. A rudimentary, if ubiquitous, how-to manual for marijuana cultivators. Reprinted numerous times, as recently as 2000.
"Mary Jane Superweed" was a pseudonym that appeared over a variety of pot-growing manuals in the late Sixties and early Seventies; it has been attributed by one contemporary to a Bay Area cannabis researcher named Djanandruan Baba (also clearly a pseudonym, assuming the attribution is even accurate – it appears nowhere else).
