A film producer's constant philandering lands him in hot water with his wife, leading him to hire a peevish, ill-tempered screenwriter to keep an eye on his young mistress until his wife cools down. Screenwriter Nicholas Kazan was best known for co-writing the screenplays for "Matilda" (1996), and for writing "Bicentennial Man" (1999) and "Enough" (2002).
