Laid in are a facsimile of a letter by Dawson stapled to a three-page cast list with addresses and phone numbers, and a photocopy of a letter from West Virginia State College to Dawson referencing payment for a lecture appearance. A western novel focusing on a pioneer woman and political intrigue during the Spanish-American War.
