Contemporary paneled calf with later rebacking, re-cornering and repairs to board edges, gilt library names to centers of front boards, library insignia to rear boards, raised bands and gilt titles and publication dates to spines, endpapers renewed. Moderate rubbing, joints of both volumes just starting at heads, corners bumped and somewhat worn, front hinge of Volume II cracked, library bookplates and small shelf labels to front pastedowns. Title pages printed in red and black.
